Super Blender V2.0 Now Available

The Super Blender is a parallel effects loop blender with 3 fully buffered effects loops plus a clean channel with tone controls. The instrument signal is split into 4 channels, sent to the 3 effects loops and the clean channel, and then mixed back together. When the main bypass stomp is switched on the clean channel is on automatically while each effect loop may be switched on or off individually.
Channel A has a feedback control which sends the return signal from the effect back to it’s send for interesting results.
There is also a switch to change channels B and C from parallel configuration into a series configuration, where the return from effects loop B is sent to the send of effects loop C.

The Super Blender is now available for sale. Finally managed to steal enough time to perfect it.
There might be a slight delay in getting a bunch built so place your order sooner.

New member here. The Super Blender looks great, but I can't make out all of the details in the picture.

This unit has level controls (technically not blends) for each loop and for the clean, as well as an on/off switch for each loop. Is this correct?

Can more than one loop be used at a time?

Is there a master volume control?

Thanks.

Each loop plus the clean channel has a seperate level control so no blends and no master volume. The individual level controls handle that.
The first stomp switch turns the whole pedal on and off and engages the clean channel and effect loop A at the same time. Effects loop B and C are added in via their respective switches so you can have all 3 loops on at the same time if you want.

I will be writing up a more detailed description and some user notes shortly.

Hi Mr. Paw, its Andy in Dallas TX. I got one of theese from you a month back I think. I had a question, I wanted to ask you.
Im using a bass multi effects in channel C. Line 6 M13 in channel B. Channel A, Im using a EHX Q-Tron+ envelope filter.
Since each channel in the blender is buffered, Im haveing trouble getting my Q Tron to sound good. Seems like the signal going to it is too hot. Can you recommend something ?
A compressor, noise gate maybe ?
Thanks

That's tricky. The buffering doesn't actually boost the signal amplitude but it does remove the interaction between the pickups and the effect. You can try just using a passive volume pedal in the loop before the Q-Tron. So it would be Send -> volume pedal -> Q-Tron -> Return.
It doesn't have to be a passive volume pedal but that's the simplest thing to attempt. Anything that can reduce the input volume on the Q-Tron should help.

Super Blender V2.0 is now out. The block diagram in a post above is no longer valid because the new version has a foot switch for channel A as well as the other effects channels for a total of 4 foot switches on the new model. Here's an instruction manual -> http://www.woundedpaw.com/effects/super ... manual.pdf
